9/20 8 months

Today I hit my 8 months of being a missionary!! I can't believe it's been 8 months. I feel like it was just yesterday I was in Quarantine not able to leave the apartment. This week was so amazing! Miracle this week:

Wednesday we were at the VC until 7pm and we were about to go home. We had a lesson planned but it had canceled. We were heading to the car and our zone leaders were about to go through the temple with their recent convert Emily (she got baptized that Sunday) and they were going to to baptisms for the dead. And they didn't have any girls going with them. So Milagro we got to go through the temple with her!!! It was so spiritual and so amazing.
Funny moments:
the elders not explaining at all to their recent convert what was going to happen..  and me totally falling into elder cates when he baptized me...

We found this guy named Juan Carlos. We found him street contacting and he's way cool!!! He called us 6 times confirming his appointment we had with him. Cause he thought it was too good to be true. He told his boss that he had an emergency this Sunday to his boss so that he could come to church!! Also loved my HLJ ring (CTR ring) and I gave it to him and he wore it to  church. He moved here from Honduras a week ago!!
We also found this guy yesterday named Carlos. He decided to visit an member member recently moved to the ward and miracle !!! Her boyfriend isn't a member and his been coming to church the past 3 Sundays !! And now we are teaching him!!

My best friend Chen came and visited me at the visitor center which was so amazing!!

Missionary News from President Egbert

 Dear Missionary Parents and Bishops,

Sister Egbert and I are so grateful for the tremendous work Sister Olivia Carol Brunner is doing in the California Los Angeles Mission. Whenever we spend time with Sister Brunner, we're consistently uplifted.

With each transfer, many missionaries have opportunities to grow and serve the Lord in new areas and capacities. Others are blessed to continue serving in the same area, strengthening their companions, friends and ward members. Whether a missionary is transferred to a new area and role or not, please know that assignments have been directed by the Lord as we've pondered, prayed, and fasted over these changes.

In the upcoming transfer, Sister Brunner's assignment will be in the Los Angeles Spanish Zone, in the LA 3rd 2 area. Her role will be Sister Training Leader Trainer. Her companion(s) will be Sister Anderson. Trainers will be told who they are training after the new missionaries arrive in the field.

Thank you for your love and support of Sister Brunner.

Sincerely,

President and Sister Egbert

Sept 6: Milagros

This week was crazy! But still full of miracles.

Funny story. We almost got robbed . But the elders took care of the situation by giving the homeless man a popsicle.. so that was fun.

We had a miracle where we found a family because this lady Alejanda was carrying lots of food so we went and helped her. And she asked if we could teach her family! She is taking care of her parents.  they been really going through a hard time. Lots of health issues We taught them the restauración. and they loved it!! We then had the Elders come with us to give them a priesthood blessing. And they said they know our church is true and that they want to come to church! I'm not sure how they will make it to church with all their health issues. But what a miracle!! My testimony on charity has increased so much these past few weeks!

Funny story yesterday we were street contacting and this guy talked to us and said he wanted to feed us.. 🙄.. long story short he told me on the phone later that night that he loves us.. like not a friendly way.
As a companionship  hna Anderson and I get so comments from people about our eyes. And Hna Anderson one time said "I hate having blue eyes"

This week we had one of our friends come to church! He loved it.

Also had Korean BBQ  on PD day.
