I am beyond grateful for the opportunity that I have had to serve in the California Los Angeles mission and in the LA Temple Visitors' Center. Serving during the pandemic was very challenging and very sad at times, being a missionary, in general, is very challenging and sad at times. But being a missionary and serving the Lord 24/7 is one of the biggest joys I have experienced. As missionaries, our purpose is to invite others to come unto christ. I have loved every second of being a missionary. I have such a love for my Savior Jesus Christ and my love for God's children have grown so much. By serving in the Visitors' Center I've been able to meet people from all walks of life, people from all over the world coming to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Serving in the Visitors' Center and focusing on the blessings of temples has helped me come to know how I can apply the Atonement in my life.
I got to serve in two zones at the same time my whole mission, being in the visitor center and having a proselyting area. I served in 3 proselyting areas and 2 wards my whole mission, where I have also met so many amazing people, it was been a very humbling experience, knocking on doors, and tracking in the streets of LA. Getting to know so many cultures, I just love the Hispanic culture, being able to serve in Wards with people from all different parts of Latin America. Seeing the way they live and serve others has blessed my life. I have been able to have 6 companions, 6 amazing companions that gave all taught me so much. God knew I needed them.
I know that Christ lives and that we can have peace and happiness through Him, that because of him we can have eternal happiness. I love this gospel. I am going to miss my mission so much. Hebrews 13:8
