I am beyond grateful for the opportunity that I have had to serve in the California Los Angeles mission and in the LA Temple Visitors' Center. Serving during the pandemic was very challenging and very sad at times, being a missionary, in general, is very challenging and sad at times. But being a missionary and serving the Lord 24/7 is one of the biggest joys I have experienced. As missionaries, our purpose is to invite others to come unto christ. I have loved every second of being a missionary. I have such a love for my Savior Jesus Christ and my love for God's children have grown so much. By serving in the Visitors' Center I've been able to meet people from all walks of life, people from all over the world coming to learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Serving in the Visitors' Center and focusing on the blessings of temples has helped me come to know how I can apply the Atonement in my life.
Homecoming
Departing Sister
Dear Parents,
On 6 Jul 2022, Sister Olivia Carol Brunner will return home after having served an honorable and successful mission in the California Los Angeles Mission.
Sister Egbert and I love Sister Brunner. You can be very pleased with the contribution that Sister Brunner made while serving in the California Los Angeles Mission. She has blessed the lives of many, including those who have accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ as a result of her efforts and those she has helped to return to activity within the Lord's kingdom. Her name will be remembered by many for generations to come. She has grown in her testimony of the Savior and in her ability to work with people. We also have been deeply touched by her service in the mission, and we trust you were greatly blessed through her labor.
Sister Brunner will be part of our lives forever. Sister Egbert and I are grateful for all she has done to help the Lord hasten His work of salvation. Our prayer is that she will continue to grow in faith and good works as she continues to serve our Heavenly Father.
Sister Egbert joins me in thanking you for all your sacrifice and love, that helped Sister Brunner serve so well.
Sincerely,
John J. Egbert

I have been a missionary for 17 months. My time as a missionary is sadly coming to end. Making me really reflect on my mission and the service I have given. Sleeping has been very hard because it's hard to sleep and when I sleep I Dream about the mission. But I have been loving every second. Elder Pingree came and spoke to our mission it was very inspiring. We had a huge miracle by Zoila coming to church and she brought her son David. It was so amazing because we have been trying to get her to church since HNA siete and I found her so for 2 transfers but we had an amazing lesson and it really clicked and she said she wants to come to church every week.
