My friend Sara Pitcher texted me and asked if she could bring out family a cheesecake. There was a sister in our ward, Trudy Gedge, who recently passed away from Covid. Sara said that with each of her boys that has gone a mission that Sister Gedge would bring her family a cheesecake to celebrate. So in honor of Sister Gedge, Sara wanted to bring our family a cheesecake before Olivia left for Vegas for her MTC experience.
I will see if I can pass along this tradition to the next family that sends out a child to the mission field.
