Zone Conferece

 Wanted to share the highlights 

We had zone conference which was awesome we focus on family historia and how we can use it in finding. We were aw to find 4 friends this week! And all were miracles. And one was though family historia. We were knocking doors And no one was interested, one lady told us we will find the truth who the real God is in the Bible 🤣. Anyways we knocked the mangers door to the apartment complex (we were scared ngl) and when she answered and we asked her if she's ever heard of family search and we told we can find our where her name came from. She was like"pasen pasen!" And we came in and promised the blessings of the family and hie families are eternal! And set a return appointment! And now we are friends with the manager we can definitely use that to help us next time we stop by. 

That same night we went to visit an hermano and as we came his brother and law lives with him and isn't a member so we were able to teach him! He reads the Bible every day and wants to learn he is an older man and he told us he doesn't work except Sundays 🙄 but we can work on that. 

That same night we were able to stop by this guy we met Street contacting and we were able to teach him. He said he wants to draw closer to God and wants to go to church! (Currently works on Sundays) but he has such potential!

And now my favorite story! 

So last sunday we were walking in the street to an apartment complex and this guy was walking towards us and he was carrying a bunch of stuff so we asked to help him. And he laughed and said you can help me by praying for me (this was in english) so we prayed with him and he was about in tears. He was about in tears he recently was robbed and hasn't slept in a week and had been very stressed. We got his number and left. Then Tuesday we got a text from him from another number saying he got a new phone! Like he texted us!! And we called him that night and we prayed with him again and then he prayed it was so amazing. And then we invited him to visitor center. And then on Saturday he biked to the visitor center!! 9 miles! And we gave a him a tour and he loved it! He was asking about the book of mormon. We told him he could have his own and was like "I can have the whole book?? And for free?? I'm going to read it!" And then we invited him to church ! Our church is awesome cause the first service is I english and the second (the one we go to is in spanish) so we invited him to church and he came!!! He told us he grew up in another faith so to come to church without having christ on the cross was nice and not as sad. The speaker talked about baptism!! I was nervous.. but at the end he said he really liked it and wants to meet with us again! Of Course we have to pass him off to the english missionaries but it was amazing he was talking to all the members and making friends. It was just so amazing! We had 4 people go to church! One friend that's been taught since 2020 he came to the church for the first time! And brought his grandkids! And this member brought their nephew that's not a member but we are excited!!
