Aug. 30: Longest Week

 Hola todos!!

This week felt like one of the longest weeks of my mission. But there were some amazing miracles as well. My testimony about the priesthood has increased so much this past week.

Also got to clean inside the Los Angeles temple on Friday!

Aug. 23 : So I hit 7 months

 Hola a todos!!

It's been a crazy week! Just wanted to share a miracle. With whitewashing the area we have been struggling a little bit on the area. The last time they had friends come to church was a in March over zoom... we have been praying and fasting to find people that can come to church that can be more solid. And we went through our old referrals that the old missionaries in the last that had contacted. And we found eddy! He said he's been wanting yo go to church. And so of course we invited him and he brought his friend!! They loved church and are so willing to learn more! So we are very excited to keep teaching them! We were so happy to have them at church!! First time of the transfer. We hope to have our area to keep growing.

The departing missionaries from the Ventura mission came to the VC and guess who was there Macy Udy!! Her and I went to high school together.

Aug. 16 Always have Animo!!

It's been a crazy week! With having zone conference this last week it was really amazing. Hna Anderson and I are working on having more more faith and finding ways to invite the spirit more while planning and while trying to receive revelation. We decided to play more hymns. Before we plan the day or have any weekly planning we play a small hymn. It has made such a difference. Hymns are so powerful and can really bring the spirit. Our area is having a hard time. We are trying to have more faith and praying for miracles. We are really seeing miracles even if it's just by small little things. We have been street contacting. It's been very hard but we have seen miracles in just having people listen to us.  So always have Animo! Even if white washing in a not so great area there is always miracles in everything!!

August 9: Sister Anderson

Hope you all had a great week!!

This is my 5th transfer! Hermana Anderson and I will be whitewashing the area. And hermana Anderson isn't originally a VC sister so it was a surprise to her on tuesday that right when I picked her up from the mission office we went straight to the VC and gave tours, then went shopping then had a lesson. So we didn't unpack til 10pm at night. We are living back at the first place where I started my mission. No longer at the temple apartments. Hna Anderson is so cute and bubbly her and I am very excited to learn from her.

We had a crazy week. With white washing and being at the visitor center.

Hermana siete and I after being companions for 5 months we are officially being separated. Going to miss her for sure but we will still see her at church and the vc so.

Before I changed areas our little 9 year old  that we are teaching is getting baptized!!! Sep 12th!!

My first week back as being an STL

We were able to have follow up calls with elder Montoya. He seems to be doing good! It's amazing to see how much he's already grown in a week. My companion hna Anderson is doing amazing! She has just jumped right into the work.

Also funny story, we made a new friend that seemed es super solid he was a fb referral. We taught him how to pray. We was so excited to go church. We had church on Sunday and we texted him and he said he can't go to church because he lives in the Dominican Republic ... we asked him to send is his address so that we could refer him to missionaries. It was just kinda funny to the distance on Google maps.

Aug. 2: I'm Training

What a crazy week. I can't believe the transfer is over already. This past week was full of miracles. We found 6 friends! All were miracles. We found a family that just moved here from Utah and are all members except the son and the husband. The 9 year old son was supposed to be baptized in Utah but then they moved here. And he wants to get baptized!! Another big miracle is one time we went to a members house Hna Zandana and we were sharing a Spiritual message and her neighbor knocked on the door, she came in and we shared a message with her!! And we have a follow up appointment with her and the member for this week. How amazing

So big news, I have transferred! I'm still in the same zone but a new area. I'm moving back into my old apartment in downtown LA, and I'm going to be training a new missionary ! While still being at the visitor center, while being an STL.. so I'm not nervous at all.

Hna Siete and I have been companions since March. So it's going to be sad leaving her. We have gotten so close and use to each other. But this change will be good. Hna Siete will also be training next transfer.

Hope you have a great week!
