Long but great

Had a super long but great week!

English class has been popping off!! We had lots of students come!

Been super busy at the VC. On Saturday we gave over 15 tours. All Spanish. And my comp and I were split for the majority of it. But we had some really good tours. We were at the VC for 4 days in a row. Our legs were killing us by Sunday night we just felt dead.

Donated blood last week for the first time!

We had to wear masks in church again .. sad.

We set two more baptismal dates this week. With Alejandra and her aunt! Funny story when we extended the date the member told our friends that we were just inviting them to a baptism not to be baptized... (face palm) but she accepted!!

Last Transfer

I'm officially in my last 6 weeks of my mission. I am going to be staying here in Santa Monica and finish training sister Osguthorpe. I am very very happy to be ending my mission here. there is lots of work to be done and lots of goals we still want to achieve. we set our friend Jesus on Bap date! which was such a huge miracle, the lesson was so spiritual and very powerful, Jesus basically put himself a date for June 25th

On Thursday we held a private event for single adults the Bonner family came!! I have been listening to the Bonner family my whole mission because as missionaries we can only listen to certain music. so to see them and see them perform was so amazing.

we at VC tour with Alejandra and her family earlier this week it was so amazing. we invited familia Bahena and Hermana de Leon to come. we invited them to get baptized on June 25th as well. they said they would pray about it! we really hope for the best.

yesterday, My friend Maria got baptized! Hna Anderson and I found her, I don't know if you all remember when Hna Anderson and I  helped this lady with her bags and she invited us in her home (this was september of last year) and we ended up teaching her and her parents and her husband... Maria was the one who was basically healed by a priesthood blessing. and promised god she would be baptized.. anyways she got baptized yesterday!!!

being a missionary is literally the best thing ever!

May 16 Temple trip

This last week was pretty fun! And long. I sadly had to say goodbye to my best friend Hermana Siete. It's super weird not having her here. But weirdly I'll be seeing her again soon in 7 weeks.. for when I go home which is weird.

This last week we got to go through the temple it was so beautiful and spiritual. I learned a lot! I'm so grateful for temples. It was such a beautiful experience being in the Celestial room with half of my mission. It was an experience that I will cherish forever.

A super cool miracle was that as we were hiking we were walking down a hill the four of us. And this thought came into my head of "there's a bike coming" and so I said put loud there's the bike coming we need to move over. And when we moved over there wasn't a biker but a few seconds later this bike came zooming down the hill and couldn't have slowed down in time. And would've hit us. They asked how I knew because we didny even see or hear the biker. It was the spirit that definitely protected us.

Coach Bolton!!

 Quote of the week

"Having my middle school drama teacher and coach Bolton in the same room as the Christus was a bit much for me" - hna Brunner

This week was literally so crazy!! Such an amazing week!
We finally taught English class in person!! On Monday only had two students but it was fun. Tuesday was the craziest! We made 4 friends! Knocking doors all our lessons were canceled but we were able to be led by the spirit and we met two families. And one was a mom and daughter that are really good friends of a member in our ward! So that was really cool. We were then able to make 2 new friends Wednesday and have a lesson with our friend alejanda and her family. We only have three days in our area and so it was such a miracle to be able to find 6 friends in 2 days. And still have lots of lessons.
The VC was so amazing this past week too. I have a crazy story from yesterday

I wanted to share an amazing miracle that happened at the VC. We had this cute couple come in. We didn't quite understand at first if they were members or not but we eventually figured out that the husband was a member and his wife wasn't a member. We started to give them a tour and a scheduled tour came in so we combined them and it was also another PMF and we talked about baptism in Savior of the World. And we talked about how baptism is the first convant with God and we can make more in the temple. We explain more about temples and we invited both of the families to pray about their next step to be able to go to the temple. We took the couple aside and they have been going to church but haven't met with missionaries! We found them the local missionaries. And we gave her a LDM and they said that elders could call them today! So we called Elder Gomez and Guardado. And they went to their house today!! And they said she really wants to go inside the temple! And they set a baptismal date that lesson!!

Also crazy  story coach Bolton from  highschool musical came to the VC
It was so cool! And my middle school drama teacher came too! It was a bit much for me
